What kind of people are you growing up? Were you confident, popular or sure of yourself? If so, you invest me. My friends and I called us “trolls under the stairs …” and that was for teachers. The closest thing to social interaction was to avoid eye contact with anyone who went through me … but I always wanted more.

I always wanted to be able to connect and talk to new people. To be like famous children, never be afraid of what I would say or if I would look stupid. For me, it seemed that other people were always so confident, confident in themselves and in their ability. I wanted to be like that more than anything else.

Since those days, I have had the honor of being a waiter, public relations and a large number of parties throughout Europe. I spent another winter in the Alps, skiing and meeting new people, last summer working, lying on the beach and celebrating at night. And all this is possible for anyone just by changing ideas in your head!

But maybe traveling and working abroad don’t interest you. It doesn’t matter if you want to create your own business, make contacts with new people, request your next great job or even something as small as talking to a sales assistant in a store (something that terrifies me). The steps will help you!

How many times a day do you hear a voice that tells you that you can’t do something? Or will you look stupid? This sound is the same in everyone’s head. Always tell people that they are not good enough for something. But this voice requires a lot of effort to say something as negative as positive.

There is a quote “If you talk to your best friend the same way you talked to yourself, will they still be your friends?” If not, does it say nothing about all the negative things you say to yourself?

So, the first step is to start changing that sound in your head. Every time you hear a negative voice, start thinking about what your best friend will tell you. Or your mother or your father. Remember your words of encouragement. Sometimes you just need to believe in another person’s faith in you.

Step 2: imagine your future as bright as possible

This is not a positive thing, I feel good “Imagine and your dreams will come true”. What I mean is literally sit down, close your eyes and imagine where you want to be in the future. Visualize every simple detail. Because that would be a great incentive for you!

Think of it this way, which will make you feel more hungry: think of the delicious hamburgers you will eat for dinner, filled with a delicious cake, fresh crunchy lettuce, camperm cheese, delicious and ripe tomatoes packed between two perfectly toasted cakes.

Or a standard swamp burger?

When you think about where you want to be with all the details you can, it will provide more hunger and motivation to achieve it.

In each situation there are hundreds or thousands of possible results, what results focus more on them? Negative or more? As I said before, stop focusing all the time on a negative result that probably won’t happen and start focusing on positive results. Believe me, I know it’s easier than the fact.

There have been days when negative results continued to appear again and again, hundreds of times. And every time they do that, notice them, then choose to let them pass. Because it is better to spend your time and energy thinking about the positive result. This is a skill that needs time to develop. But this time it will happen anyway. Do you want to spend the rest of your life just thinking about the negative aspects because you don’t want to spend time changing your mental habits?

And remember …
Even after all this, there will be times when you still don’t feel comfortable enough. Or you can’t do something. That’s pretty good. But these are times when leaving home is more important. That voice should appear in your head: “No, I’m good enough, I can do it”
